RF Best Practice for Production and Touring - London

A hands-on training day for rental companies and sound engineers looking to make their productions more professional, reliable and RF efficient.

Target Group:

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will come away with a comprehensive understanding of how to configure and operate Sennheiser wireless audio solutions
  • focusing specifically on touring productions.

Content:

The RF for Production and Touring course is led by Andrew Lillywhite and Joe Mahoney, resident RF experts from the Sennheiser Customer Development Application Engineering team.

They will cover the following topics on the day, referencing a number of common RF scenarios as working examples:

    - Analog v Digital RF explained
    - Best practices when planning RF
    - Preparing for the 2020 clearance of the 700 MHz band
    - Antenna distribution and wiring options
    - Avoiding loss through cable and addressing interference issues

 

Attendees will also have the opportunity to work on a number of Sennheiser wireless audio systems, and audition the range of Sennheiser and Neumann capsules as well as the new IE Pro in-ear series.

 

Refreshments and lunch will be provided on the day.
